A very funky alien of my own design. Many people comment that it looks like one of the characters out of Aaah! Real Monsters, but it wasn't based on any of those characters or even inspired by them, it was just an unfortunate similarity (the only thing they have in common really is the stripes!
 ). This is one of my favourite sculptures. I love the colour scheme and how he manages to look jovial yet kind of scary all at the same time. I am working on a series of aliens with a similar shape to this guy (I love the big mouth and the spider legs), which will be for sale. I am also available for comissions if anyone wants an alien of their very own to brighten up their house. ^_^ He is 45 cm in height, 50 cm wide and 27 cm deep. He is made with papier mache on a wire armature, is painted with acrylics and varnished. |
